The European Commission has just announced the launch of the Data Act Legal Helpdesk, a new support service designed to assist companies, public authorities and other organisations in the practical implementation of the Data Act.
The initiative, aimed in particular at SMEs, provides quick and practical answers on rights, obligations and regulatory requirements. The Data Act Legal Helpdesk is part of the Data Union Strategy and complements existing compliance tools.
The Commission also announced its intention to publish further supporting materials, including guidelines on reasonable compensation and clarifications on selected key definitions under the Data Act.
