Bangladesh - The country has been hailed by The Economist as the new Asian Tiger. And the investor appetite reflects this. Last year it received its highest ever level of foreign direct investment (FDI) at $3.61 billion, according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. This sharp rise illustrates the untapped potential within the domestic market and the lack of FDI Bangladesh has attracted until recently.

 

Consequently, we are also dedicating resources to increase our coverage with the load of additional company information.

 

All listed companies are being loaded with full financial statements links to ownership over 3% and subsidiaries and investments worldwide.

Ongoing loads

 

British Virgin Islands - The loading of entities with Registry Number, Name, Legal Form and registrations for the Gazettes, the total of companies is now over 400,000.

 

Cayman Islands - The loading of entities with Registry Number, Name, Legal Form and Status has progressed and the total at the end of November is now 216,750.

 

Democratic Republic of Congo - The loading of entities with Registry Number, Name, Legal Form and Status has finished with a completion of over 100,000 entities.

 

Eswatini - The loading of entities with Name, Legal Form and Status has finished with a completion of over 51,000 entities.

 

Germany - With a final objective of 4 million entities we have loaded so far 1.2 million entities registered in the company register in Germany. 2 million active and approximately the same number of inactive ones. New company registrations will be loaded daily, as well as mutations and inactivations.

 

Smaller Country loads

 

In the continuing work to meet the ever-increasing interest in company information including ownership links in smaller countries, we are reporting monthly the increases:

 

Angola - Commercial scale and stated priorities for infrastructure, industrial and agricultural development. The total of identified companies is now over 14,000.

 

Ivory Coast - With an average annual growth of over 8% between 2012 and 2019 (World Bank, 2021), it is a growing regional hub with a potential gateway mainly to French-speaking Africa. The total of companies identified is now over 22,500.

 

Sierra Leone - In the months of October and November new companies increased by 1,509 entities.

 

Liberia - The Liberian Registry has become the preferred tanker flag in the world, with the recent addition of 2.7 million gross tonnes of new tankers. In October new companies with manual research increased by 1730 entities, and the total of identified companies is now 12,880.

 

Sao Tome and Principe - Growth in the last two decades was driven by agriculture, tourism, oil-fuelled foreign direct investment, but mostly by government expenditure propelled by external aid and government borrowing. The total of identified companies is now over 1,200.

Ghana - Full data research, including latest financials available for 30 entities added in the month.

 

Thailand - Full data research, including latest financials available over 400 entities added in the month.

British Virgin Islands In October a total of 4,139 and in November a total of  1,899 published notes containing Liquidations/Struck off and other Notices.

Indonesia Gazette - Berita Negara

We have updated 177 entries of companies going into liquidation and bankruptcy in the months of October and November.

 

Singapore In October a monthly “Strike Off” List with 4,902 entries published by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority; in November the number of entries was 5,089.

 

Switzerland Notices by SOGC, based on the daily filings in the Swiss Commercial Registry with 22,636 records in October and 21,465 records in November.

United States of America - Data from Bankruptcy lists in October were 487 and increased by 377 records in the month of November, which reflects both increasing activity; however, also a number of companies emerging from bankruptcy following either agreements with creditors or sale of businesses.

Kenya - Load of approximately 72,000 entities with Registry Number, Name, Legal Form and Status.
