Profile

Daniel has been an active professional within the business information industry for over 37 years.

He started his career as General Manager of PIGUET and International Director of SCRL, holding these positions from 1978 to 2004.

Between 2004 and 2012, he occupied different positions at COFACE.

Initially as responsible for Marketing and International development, holding the position of Deputy Director in charge of Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Central Europe.

Later, involved in Russia, Middle East and Africa Regional Platform, Daniel was the President and CEO of 25 companies acting in Credit Insurance, Factoring, Credit information and Debt collection across 20 countries.

Over the years Daniel has been closely involved with business industry associations, such as FIGEC (Federation of French Credit information and Debt collection services). Within FEBIS, his engagement dates back to 1999, where he occupied different positions from board member, Vice-president to President until he became the federation´s Secretary General in 2015.

In terms of education, Daniel has a Master of Laws and MBA, master’s in political science (“Science Po” school).
