European Parliament adopts the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive

On June 1st 2023 , the European Parliament adopted in plenary session its position for negotiations with member states on rules to integrate human rights and environmental impact into companies’ governance.

EU lawmakers in the JURI committee of the European Parliament are expected to vote on their position on the proposed corporate accountability rules on April 25th, but some key points still remain to be unlocked.
